What happens at the closing?

The real estate closing is really just a meeting where the buyer and the seller sign documents necessary to transfer the deed from the seller to the buyer. The seller transfers the deed. They sign the deed and other documents. The buyer typically signing their loan documents. Once the money is exchanged, the deed is exchanged. Everybody’s happy. That’s what happens at a real estate closing.
